ILT20 Season 5 Rules and Format

It is a T20 double round-robin. Six teams, ten games each, top four into a four-match playoff.

Season 5 format Six teams play a double round-robin of 30 matches. The top four play Qualifier 1, an Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and a final. 6 teams 10 games each 30 league games Top 4 go through 4 playoff games Final, 20 December, Dubai

League

Each side plays each other side twice. Thirty matches decide the seeds. The points custom in previous seasons was two for a win. The Season 5 PDF was not confirmed in the sources checked on 30 October 2026.

Playing XI

The league has published an allowance of up to nine overseas players in a playing XI. Treat that as the standing rule until a Season 5 conditions sheet says otherwise. Local designation still matters, which is why UAE players are not trivia on the squad lists.
