ILT20 Prize Money Explained in Simple Words
Last updated: 31 October 2026.
ILT20 prize money for Season 5 is to be announced. Season 4 is not copied into this year's graphic. The prize page says the same thing in fewer lines.
What Is ILT20 Prize Money?
It is the champion and runner-up cheque, plus whatever individual belts the league names. For Season 5, none of those numbers is confirmed on this desk. For Season 4, Cricexec carried a league note of USD 700,000 to Desert Vipers and USD 300,000 to MI Emirates.
How ILT20 Prize Money Works in ILT20 Season 5
It does not work yet, in public. There is no confirmed split, no confirmed belt colour, and no confirmed bonus for a player award. When the league publishes a figure, this article and the prize page move together, with a new date. Until then the row stays blank on purpose.

Belts are not the same as the team cheque. In Season 4 the red belt was most valuable player, green was best batter, white was best bowler, on the naming used that night. Curran took red and green. Salamkheil took white. Those names describe one season. They are not a promise that Season 5 uses the same colours.
How ILT20 Prize Money Changes the Race for the Playoffs
It does not, until a number exists. Teams are not chasing a figure this site invented. They are chasing a final on 20 December.

Belts are not the team cheque. In Season 4 the red belt was most valuable player, green was best batter, and white was best bowler, on the naming used that night. Sam Curran took red and green. Waqar Salamkheil took white. Those colours describe one season. They are not a promise that Season 5 uses the same colours, the same names, or any public figure at all. The champion and runner-up numbers this desk will repeat are the Season 4 reports only: USD 700,000 and USD 300,000. Season 5 rows stay to be announced on purpose. Copying them forward would be a graphic, not a fact.
Points and net run rate decide the top four. A cheque does not add a win. Teams are chasing a final on 20 December in Dubai, between the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2, not a number this site invented. Series awards that are safe to repeat: Chris Jordan in 2023, Sikandar Raza in 2024, Curran in 2025-26. The 2025 series award is to be announced. When the league publishes a Season 5 figure, this article and the prize page move together, with a new date.
Sam Curran is listed as a to be announced from To be announced (batting and bowling hand not verified). No auction price is listed for this player because we could not verify one in the reports we checked. Red and green belts, player of the match, player of the series. Not on the Season 5 Vipers list.

Individual series awards and team cheques answer different questions. Jordan, Raza and Curran tell you who the league named. The 700,000 and 300,000 figures tell you what was reported for one final. Neither list is a Season 5 tariff. There is no confirmed split, no confirmed belt colour, and no confirmed bonus for a player award this year. The honest line on ILT20 prize money is the blank one, dated, and ready to be replaced when the league publishes a number. Until that PDF or league note exists, Season 4 stays in the past column and Season 5 stays to be announced. The prize page says the same thing in fewer lines.
