Home / News / Dubai Capitals Name Sartorial Castle as Style Partner

The deal is an off-field partnership, centred on the team's clothing and presentation away from the ground. It sits alongside the Capitals' sporting rebuild, with a new-look squad preparing for a season that starts in Dubai on 22 November.

Who Is Sartorial Castle?

Sartorial Castle is a Dubai-based tailoring brand offering custom-made suits, personalised clothing and formalwear. Its services cover fabric selection, garment design, tailoring and fittings, built around clothing made for the individual customer.

The business was founded by Bharat and Harish, who describe their approach as combining traditional tailoring with modern styling. For a partnership built on professional appearance, a local Dubai brand with that focus is a natural fit for a franchise based in the same city.

What an Official Style Partner Does

An Official Style Partner looks after a team's clothing and presentation outside competitive matches. That can mean formal attire for team appearances, promotional work and other professional occasions, depending on the agreement.

The role is distinct from the playing kit, which covers match and training apparel, and from the title sponsorship and broadcast deals that sit at tournament level. Sartorial Castle's appointment concerns the Capitals specifically, rather than the competition as a whole.

Capitals Rebuild After the 2025 Title

Dubai Capitals arrive in Season 5 as the 2025 champions, having beaten Desert Vipers by four wickets in the final in February 2025. The title defence ended a season later, when Abu Dhabi Knight Riders knocked the Capitals out by 50 runs in the Eliminator in Dubai on 1 January 2026.

The squad has been rebuilt around Faf du Plessis, who captains the side, and Phil Salt, with Dasun Shanaka, Marcus Stoinis and Rovman Powell among the overseas names. Sam Billings has also returned as the franchise's wild-card pick, the wicketkeeper-batter who captained the Capitals to that 2025 title.

Hemang Badani is the head coach for the new campaign, leading a group that mixes title winners with fresh auction signings. The style partnership is one more piece of that preparation, giving the off-field side of the franchise a dedicated partner before the season starts. The full Season 5 preview has the squad, the fixtures and the case for another title run.

When Dubai Capitals Start Season 5

The Capitals open their season against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in Dubai on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 6:30 pm GST, in Match 3. They follow that with a home game against Desert Vipers on Wednesday 25 November in Match 6, then travel to Sharjah to face the Warriorz on Friday 27 November and return to Dubai to meet Gulf Giants on Saturday 28 November.

Seven of the Capitals' ten league games are in Dubai, giving the side an extended run in its home city before the final stages. The full list of dates and grounds is on the ILT20 Season 5 schedule, with the league stage running to 14 December and the final in Dubai on 20 December.
