Who qualifies

The top four after 30 league matches reach the playoffs. Fifth does not, however pretty the net run rate looks. Each side plays ten games, so the table will move quickly and then lock.

How NRR is calculated

Net run rate is scoring rate minus conceding rate, across the matches that count. Scoring rate is total runs scored divided by overs faced. Conceding rate is runs conceded divided by overs bowled. A completed innings in which a side is bowled out counts as 20 overs. That is the standard formula used in this league's broadcasts. It is explained again, with the points custom, on the rules page.

Points

Previous ILT20 seasons awarded two points for a win. A no-result has typically shared the points. The Season 5 playing-conditions file was not in the sources checked on 30 October 2026, so this page will not dress that custom up as a freshly signed rule. When Cricinfo's live table adds points, these zeros get replaced and the date stamp moves.
